George Kohlbrenner relocated to Sanibel from Medford Lakes, New Jersey in 1974. He owned and operated retail and wholesale businesses on the islands and was involved in planning, developing, owning, and managing island commercial property. George held the position of Chief Operations Officer in two international corporations and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central America.

George is licensed in the State of Florida as a real estate broker and sales associate. He started his residential sales career in 1987 with PMR, Sanibel's first real estate office. George is an active member of the Sanibel & Captiva Board of Realtors, a past 8-year board member, and chairs the MLS committee. George was awarded the Sanibel Captiva Board of Realtors President Award for 2022, 2023 and 2024. He is also a past board member and director of the Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club and has served as president and chair of the Board of Sanibel's Housing Foundation and Community Housing and Resources.

George's objective is to ensure buyer satisfaction by finding appropriate properties at suitable prices and to achieve seller satisfaction by effectively marketing and promoting properties using available tools and connecting qualified buyers to each property's features. With over 50 years of experience as an island resident, developer, and community member, George possesses knowledge of the unique qualities of each home and condominium and the benefits of investment opportunities. He is familiar with the legal and permitting processes that apply to environmentally sensitive properties on the barrier islands and in Southwest Florida.
